Returns is a scheme provided by respective sellers directly under this policy in terms of which the option of replacement and/or refund is offered by the respective sellers to you.

When to go for Order Return Option??

  1. When your order is damaged, defective or tampered

First, check if there is any damage to the product that you ordered. Sometimes, the package may appear to be damaged due to shipping and handling but the product inside the packaging may be in good condition. However, if you notice that your package has been tampered with, or the product not sealed properly in its box, you may opt to raise a Return request. Depending on the category of product ordered, you may opt for a Replacement or Refund.

  1. Unexpected model, colour or size

Suppose you ordered a dozen of Red and Green LED bulbs and discovered that they all are white coloured LED bulbs? Don’t worry. Log into your Electronics Dukan account, go to My Orders tab, click on Return and select the Replacement option. Wrong delivered LED Bulbs will be picked up by our delivery personnel, and replaced with the same product of the correct size that you specified in the Replacement form.

Exchanges are an option when the product color does not match that of the product color shown on the website, or not the color that you had expected. All replacements are covered by Electronics Dukan’s replacement guarantee. Ensure that you check the seller’s terms for replacement as well.

  1. You ordered one thing, but got something else

So, you ordered a Solar street light, but when the package arrived you got a LED down light. While this is not a common occurrence, such scenarios should be immediately alerted for Returns.

  1. If you want a refund

If you are unsatisfied with your replacement, or if the specific product or model that you want is out of stock, our customer support team may advise you to opt for a refund.

If you like the some of the product so much that you’d like to keep an eye on when it comes back in stock, just click on the Notify Me feature. When your favorite/desired product is available with a seller on Electronics Dukan, you will receive a notification so that you have another chance to buy exactly what you want.

  1. A product bought from Electronics Dukan is not functional during its warranty period

The Electronics Dukan replacement guarantee stands applicable during the specified period, depending on the seller’s return policy and the product category. It is important to first check the Replacement Guarantee period on the product page and then ask for a ‘Return’.

NOTE: If, for some reason, you discovered that the product you ordered has some malfunction or is not working past this guarantee period, get in touch with the authorized service center of the brand in your city, just as you would with any product that you might purchase at an offline retailer. 


How to raise request for Order Return

You can raise a request to return your items with these simple steps:

  1. Log into your ElectronicsDukan account
  2. Go to My Orders
  3. Click on ‘Return’ against the item you wish to return or exchange
  4. Fill in the details and raise a return request

Once you raise a request, you’ll get an email and SMS confirming that your request is being processed. Based on the item, your request may be automatically approved or you may be contacted for more details. If the request is approved, the item will be picked up after which you will get a replacement or refund. You can also track the status of your return request instantly from the ‘My Orders’ section of your ElectronicsDukan account.

Cancel Button will get disabled when the item is delivered or the product is non refundable.


The Electronics Dukan Product Returns process explained 

Here is how the Electronics Dukan product returns process works:

Log in to Electronics Dukan and go to your Orders tab. Tap or click on Return to create a request

Depending on the kind of product you wish to return, your return request may have to undergo a verification process

Following verification, you will be required to confirm your decision based on the category of product ordered. Three options are available:

Exchange: Your order will be exchanged for a new identical product of a different size or color.

Replace: The product in your order will be replaced with an identical product in case it is damaged (broken or spoiled) or defective (has a functional problem that causes it not to work) or is not as described.

Refund: If the item received is different from what you ordered, and if the product of your choice is unavailable in your preferred size or color or model, or if it is out of stock, you may decide that you want your money back. In this scenario, you may choose Refund to have your money returned to you.

Keep ready all the requisite items necessary for a smooth returns process — including invoice, original packaging, price tags, freebies, accessories, etc.

Pickup and Delivery of your order will be scheduled in case of exchanges and replacements

Refund will be initiated and processed if applicable

Your request will be fulfilled according to Electronics Dukan’s returns/replacement guarantee

For refund /replacement request should be made within 7 days of delivery of item.

Note: Refund/replacement is applicable only when the item is with all original tags & packing intact.

Once notified for return, our delivery personnel will collect the product delivered to you and provide you with a replacement of the exact product that you ordered. Remember to read the return policy on the page where your product is described.

All returns are covered by the Electronics Dukan replacement guarantee.

Choose the Request Return option after filling out the details from your My Orders page. Your refund will be processed after approval. Once your refund has been approved, your money will be credited back to you in one of three ways:

As a credit in your Electronics Dukan Wallet

As an NEFT transfer if you paid via cash-on-delivery

As a refund via the same source that you used to pay for the order (called Back to Source, this method is available for all sellers). For example, this means that if you paid via your HDFC Debit card, your refund will be credited to the same account.

How long does the Electronics Dukan product returns process take?

As soon as you fill out the Returns form online, you will receive an email at your registered email address and an SMS on your registered mobile phone number. You can also track the process by visiting the My Account page on your laptop or smartphone by clicking on My Orders. If you’re going in for an exchange, your replacement product will be delivered to you at the same time as the pick-up in most cases. Remember to keep tracking your order.



Guidelines for Seller

  1. Cancellation Process

Customers who want to cancel orders must do so through the cancellation process offered by Electronics Dukan, including through the subscription manager on the Electronics Dukan Site. You must clearly disclose this requirement to customers and provide for such customers to be re-directed to Electronics Dukan’s subscription manager. You may not directly interact with a customer to cancel a Transaction or otherwise process a cancellation, refund or return for a Product, except as is necessary to re-direct such customer from your website or application to Electronics Dukan’s subscription manager.

  1. Refund Process

If a customer contacts us with respect to your Product, we may issue refunds as a service to you in accordance with our usual business practices. For each refund that we issue, you will grant us a credit in an amount equal to your portion of the Sales Revenue for the applicable Transactions. If a customer contacts you with respect to your Product and seeks a refund or other adjustment, you will refer such customer to Electronics Dukan, and you authorize Electronics Dukan to, on your behalf, determine and calculate the amount of all refunds and adjustments (including any taxes or other charges) or other amounts to be paid by you to such customers. All payments to customers in connection with your Transactions will be routed through Electronics Dukan or its designated Affiliate. Electronics Dukan or its designated Affiliate will provide the refund payments to the applicable customer (which may be in the same payment form originally used to purchase your Product). Electronics Dukan may deduct all amounts refunded from the Sales Revenue prior to transmission to you or otherwise seek reimbursement from you for all refunds.





Guidelines for Buyer

  1. Please read the sellers return policy before ordering any product.
  2. Open Box delivery option is not available on all products.
  3. In certain cases where the seller is unable to process a replacement for any reason whatsoever, a refund will be given.
  4. During open box deliveries, while accepting your order, if you received a different or a damaged product, you will be given a refund (on the spot refunds for cash-on-delivery orders). Once you have accepted an open box delivery, no return request will be processed, except for manufacturing defects. In such cases, this category-specific replacement/return general conditions will be applicable.
  5. For products where installation is provided by Electronicsdukan service partners, do not open the product packaging by yourself. Electronicsdukan authorized personnel shall help in unboxing and installation of the product.
